Moving Tips
We understand that moving can be very stressful. Here are a few tips to make it as smooth as possible.
MAKE A LIST
For us to give you an accurate estimate it is critical that we know exactly what contents to prepare for. The last thing we want is for your move to take longer than it has to be.
Elevators
Elevators can make your move drag on longer than we would like. Getting as much stuff in it as possible, taking it up and down. Waiting for it to become accessible. the list goes on.
Scheduling with your apartment/condo to reserve it for us. Or gaining access to a freight elevator is one way to make your move smoother.
Parking
Check with your apartment/condo for the appropriate parking for our truck. The closer we can get it to your door step the faster your move will go. However, some complexes have rules on where we can and cant park.
PACKING YOURSELF?
We offer all the necessary supplies you will need! However, If you choose to pack yourself; We insist that proper packing materials be used, especially for fragile items. (i.e. bubble wrap, packing paper and a sturdy box.)
